					<description><![CDATA[Eric, I really enjoyed reading this.  Something that many immigrant kids can probably confirm is that libraries tend to play an outsized role with immigrant families.   Immigrant families often do not have the financial resources as non-immigrant families so libraries become a really important source of entertainment and learning resources.  Books are a fantastic escape allowing kids who may not be able to travel as much as other kids a way to see the world and libraries provide a seemingly unlimited source of books.  I know the Internet has changed things but it is disheartening to see how poorly stocked the shelves are of public libraries.]]></description>
