					<description><![CDATA[It is amazing how similar the role Dan apparently played in the early part of your career was to the role he played in mine at around the same time.   Which says tons about him, of course.  One can only imagine how many others feel the same way you and I do. 

Dan taught me so much about IP law (something I knew nothing about) over beers or at late night dinners where we talked for hours about the emerging field of Internet law.  He was not only wise but patient in his mentorship.  

I look back on that period and am amazed that anyone would give so much time to a newly-out-of-law-school kid who had little to give back in exchange.   I owe him so much and am so sad to hear of his passing.]]></description>
