Thank you so very much Lisa and Eric for sharing your life. So very few people know that radioactive radon gas exposure is the leading cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers and the leading environmental cause of cancer mortality. We at "Citizens for Radioactive Radon Reduction" are doing all we can to change that. I hope you and your readers will join our facebook page and look at our website. We are making a difference and hope you will join us. God bless you both and may you find strength and courage in your journey.

Eric, praying daily for you, Lisa and the kids. I lost my first husband (a non-drinker) to liver cancer and walked through breast cancer with my twin sister - there are no words to describe what you're going through. I wish I could be there to 'doula' your family through this. I love you all.

Best wishes to Lisa, you, and your family, on her full recovery. Thank you for writing this blog to help other people in similar situations. From a former Epinions-employee (I read about this via Lisa Nishimoto).

I lost a friend to lung cancer in the 1980s. One who never smoked. He played a key role in my life, helping me get online through the BBS in his garage. This disease sucks and I can't imagine what you are going through. Sending positive thoughts to you and your family and, of course, Lisa. Kudos for sharing this journey in both of your lives, I bet this helps countless other people as well.
